We are here to help
What we do…
To us, dogs are a member of the family. If you're here reading this, we're going to guess that you absolutely love your dog and treat them like a member of your family too!
We help foster the bond you already have with your dog. Using proven doggy psychology and human body language, we teach you how to "communicate" better with your dog. This also helps you understand the reasons why they may have bad behaviors, and what you can do on a daily basis to correct their behaviors.
We ONLY use positive methods when working with your dog. Dominance training and "alpha dog" mind games are outdated and debunked.

Why we do it…
Every year, 3.3 million dogs are surrendered to animal shelters in the United States. 47% of those dogs were surrendered due to problematic behaviors, aggressive behaviors, and a few other problems the owners did not want to deal with. A majority of these dogs were 5 months - 2 years old.
To us, that means FAR too many dogs are surrendered during their prime training time because of preventable behaviors... behaviors that we could have helped with.
The worst part is that nearly 1 million of those sheltered dogs are euthanized every year!
Through Happy Tails Dog Training, we would like to help bring that number down and and hopefully inform people everywhere of what they can do to help prevent themselves from being another statistic.

How does this benefit you?
